Paris-Sulphur Springs District
The PSS district consists sixty-five congregations located in the northeast part of Texas including all or portions of Delta, Fannin, Franklin, Hunt, Hopkins, Lamar, Red River, and Wood Counties. Presently our appointed clergy mix is eighteen Elders, two Retired Elders, three Commissioned on Elder Track, one Commissioned on Deacon Track, four Full Time Local Pastor's, twelve Part Time Local Pastor's, eight Student Local Pastors's, three with credentials from other denominations, and two lay persons serving in supply positions. Our "Town and Country" churches have traditional worship services and several have added contemporary services for those who prefer a more experiential setting. We invite you to visit our churches and hope that you will find a church home for you and your family. If you have any questions or would like a referral please do not hesitate to contact our office.

| Directions | From East or West on I-30 exit #124 Broadway Street. Turn North at Traffic Light. Continue North until you come to a stop sign (dead end) by the Courthouse. Turn Left, then immediately Right, then immediately Left onto Atkins Street. First UMC will be on your right. Go half way down that block past the brick & stucco Administration Building to the second parking lot entry on your right. Turn in and park along side the building (do not use the numbered spaces). You will see our sign on the door. The office suite is the second door on the right. Please come in. From North on Hwy 19 after you enter the city limits continue south toward downtown. After you cross the Railroad tracks you will go about two city blocks the US Post Office will be on your left and First United Methodist Church will be on your right. Just as you are in front of the sanctuary you will see Atkins Street to your right that is between the south side of the church and the north (back) side of the Alliance Bank building -- turn right.
