Memory and cognitive diseases focus due for 'Body, Mind and Spirit' lecture

The Point Center for Arts and Education at C. C. Young Retirement Center will present “What Can You Really Do to Beat Memory and Cognitive Diseases,” the second in a series of “Body, Mind and Spirit” Lectures, Nov. 14 in the Fogelson Forum Auditorium of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas. The morning will begin with a 9:00 a.m. reception followed by the 10:00 a.m. lecture.
Lecturers will be R. Malcolm Steward, M. D, clinical professor of Neurology, UT Southwestern Medical Center; Rege S. Steward, M.D., retired clinical professor in psychiatry at UT Southwestern; and Anne M. Lipton, M.D, Ph.D., Department of Neurology, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital.
The lectures’ focus will include early identification, lifestyle changes and early treatments related to cognitive diseases.
