2009 Engaged and Marriage Encounter Weekends
North Texas Conference Engaged and Marriage Encounter Weekends offer opportunities for couples to grow

The 2009 Worldwide Marriage Encounter and Engaged Encounter weekends have been scheduled in the North Texas Conference.
Both are programs affiliated with the United Methodist General Board of Discipleship.
There will be two Marriage Encounter Weekends, February 20 - 22 and October 2-4 and one Engaged Encounter Weekend March 27-29, all at the Hilton Garden Inn in Las Colinas.
Marriage Encounter is an experience for married couples seeking a life-giving relationship with each other, the church and God.
Engaged Encounter helps couples understand how the choice of a life partner is one of the most important decisions anyone ever makes. Marriage Encounter was developed to equip couples with the knowledge and communication skills necessary to grow in their relationship. It offers proved communication tools, is psychologically sound and based on theological and doctrinal concepts of the UMC.
Engaged Encounter was developed to equip couples with the knowledge and skills necessary to grow through this exciting and challenging time of their lives and to provide a solid foundation upon which to build a lifetime relationship.
